Style Tip: Men's Section

When shopping ladies, do not limit yourself entirely to the women's sections. I stumble across great finds in menswear. Great for the slouch, comfortably oversized look. Here's an example of something I came across at H&M today.

Grandpa-style sweater. On the hanger

On the male mannequin.

And finally, on me.
(This picture makes my legs look really short :P)

If you have extra time, browse the men's section a bit and see what you can find!

Things I've been loving & things I've been dying to wear

Lately, for makeup I love wearing a single taupe shadow on my lid and a peachy nude lip.
I've been loving Benefit's Lip Shine in Nudie-tude. It's just a very natural peachy nude shade. I love pairing it with MAC Freckletone because it gives me the perfect nude-y lip without washing me out.

A swatch of Benefit Lip Shine in Nudie-tude. It is a lot more sheer when spread on the lips, but as you can see it's a beautiful peachy nude.

Like I said, I've been in love with taupe shades. Here are some of my favorites.
Top: Covergirl Tapestry Taupe ($3.49)
Bottom Left: MAC Satin Taupe ($14.50)
Bottom Right: Wet n Wild Nutty ($1.99)
Nutty and Satin Taupe are darker than Tapestry Taupe. Nutty is such an amazing creamy formula and has the best color payoff out of the three.

I love wearing fancy earrings when going out on the weekends or for special dates, but for day to day wear I've been obsessed with these round brushed satin studs in silver and gold plated. They go with just about any outfit, so they are great for tossing on to brighten up your face.

I found these mary jane wedges from forever21 for about $26 I think and I adore them. I think what I love about wearing them is that I can wear them carefree, since I didn't spend hundreds of dollars on them I don't have to worry about scuffing or marking them.

Loving stripes and although this shirt is very light and sheer I just couldn't wait for spring. To stay warm, I pair this with a bright colored button up underneath and the pop of color adds a nice touch.

I have a striped tunic that would look really cute with a bright yellow or coral cardigan and some espadrilles. Of course, it's still cold for that so I am anxiously waiting for spring to arrive.

I also have a sunhat from urban outfitters that's been hibernating on my coat rack. I can't wait to start wearing this, it would look good with the striped tunic as well.

Another item I've been dying to wear are these kimchi&blue strappy heels I got from urban outfitters. It would look perfect with shorts or a flowy skirt. Ahhhhh spring come quickly please!!
